No he means a vinyl body wrap. I dont recall anyone on here do so. Youd have to be good with laying vinyl to cover a motorcycle consider all the curves in the fairings.

Unless you're getting the vinyl for close to free it will most likely be more expensive then a spray can job. Just take your time with spray paint, and it'll look just fine. If you're still thinking vinyl look at a sign making forum a lot of those people do both.

Also the only person I know of on kr that is wrapped (I can't remember the name) but he has a digital camo wrapped post.

you're referring to Scout, would be much cheaper to rattle can it long as you take your time.

I'd just spray paint it I did mine just sanded my plastics down with 400 grit cleaned if good bought 10 cans of paint from the dollor store for a buck a piece and then wetsanded with 1000 grit and it looks great just take ur time and paint in thin coats
so it dont run and mine is holding up good I droped my bike in the shop and no cracks or chips in the paint and the presure washer didn't hurt the paint neither

I priced wraps a few weeks ago... you can get a compressor, gun, and automotive paint for less. And if you're good at it, you can make your money back doing work for other people.

By the time you pay someone to lay the vinyl out you could have bought all your supplies and some decent paint

My bad. I thought you were telling the OP that my bike was a wrap. I get all butt hurt when people assume it.

For the record, it is not a vinyl wrap. It's paint. It is MARPAT, and it is the real copyright version, complete with EGA's in the pattern.
