Warped windscreen

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but has anyone had trouble with their screens warping. I had my bike at the side of the house under the bike cover with temperatures of 34C. Now the screen is warped at the highest point which had contact with the cover. Doesn't make sense as to why this happened. The kids may have rested the water hose on it while using the slip and slide inthe back yard but could that cause this?
