  • What do you guys think of this idea?

    Hey all,

    Ive been trying to decide what I am going to do with my bike, as I am getting bored of the black, even though black always looks sexah :P

    I have been talking to Eric, because I really want to just steal his fairings and put them on my bike, for simplicity haha... But I cant seem to get his address.

    Just kidding Eric

    Anyhow, here is the scheme I'm going for.

    Eric indicated that this is a paint job... I have come to the conclusion that I can not afford it lol... So my question is;

    Do you guys think it would look good if I did this to my bike with decals? I have black, and I wanted to do the green/blue outline on black as shown. I know its not going to look as beautiful as his but... it will be about 99% cheaper lol.

    So, good idea? Or will it turn out like shat?

    well unless your good with a razor and good at laying down stickers than its not a good idea it will look like shat. but you can just make stensils and rattle can it till you can afford the real deal.
    time to nut up or shut up

      Take the pic of his bike to a few vinyl graphic shops and get a quote. You can do a lot with vinyl these days. If you don't have the experience let the shop install them.

        i was wanting to go with the same scheme, before i decided on the scheme i have now

        this is prolly what your looking for

        tapeworks is a really good company, and they make a great product. you just have to take your time, and do the install exactly how they tell you

        here's a link for the product

        and a video of how to install it... this is a car install... but same principles

        biggest thing is, use a heat gun... the heat makes the vynil more plyable, and easier to fit curves and bends... and TAKE YOUR TIME.
