  • 750 seat on 600 frame

ive done some modding on my 95 600 and think that the one piece seat would look good on it. i am aware that modifications will be needed. i was just wondering if any one has done this and could help me out before i sink money into a seat. thanks

I was going to do the same modification. I found its much easier to just have a custom seat made. I think you will be quite bit happier and alot less frustrated.
Just in case I have a 750 seat for sale for really cheap

My understanding is the 750 one piece seat is longer than the stock 600 two piece seat
so it might not be that easy at all without stretching the tail section.
I actually wanted to go the opposite direction and put a two piece seat on my 750 so I could do a solo cowl setup but desired to go a different rout.

I did not have a set custom made at all. I just settled with the factory seat. That link from Mreedohio above would be a good point of reference. Send the guy a email and ask how he did it. It may just be the stock double seat recovered to look like a single seat??????????????
I just looked at the one I own and decided I didnt want to cut my frame because the latching device is in a different location. Also, if I'm assumeing correctly you will have to recover the 750 seat anyway because I believe you are going to have to cut some of the base off due to the extra length.
If you go thru with it I will be glad to sell you that pretty purple 750 seat that I have
