  • harbor freight lift

I just purchased a motorcycle lift from HF. Just wondering if anyone else has one and how they like it. I don't know how it will work out cause the lifting pads seem far apart. I looked at the bike today and realized there is not much of a flat spot for lifting. I know i have to take the exhaust off at the least.

I have never tried mine on my Kat cause I have a centerstand, but I use the HF rear swingarm (paddle style) lift for my Honda VTR and it works great. The paddles should be adjustable, and you can also buy some adapters for like $5 a piece to turn it into a spool lift.

this is a full lift that goes underneath the frame , but there is not much of a flat spot . The oil pan and exhaust are in the way and not sure if its gonna work out too good.

yeah I have the exact same one. you can buy spools for it online for about $5 a piece and it also converts to a front stand.

Although I think I would go for a set of paddock stands next time, if you take off the plastics, and drop the exhaust, it works great.

You just need a 2x2 or something for the rearmost lifting spot, it fits great behind the sump on the pre oil pan.
