i take it your controls are the pre 98 style, if so nope, im wanting post 98 ones 99+

Yeah...it was me (go figure). My new controls actually came off a newer bandit. I'll try and look for some photos...I know they're buried on my other computer somewhere.

It was pretty straight forward...you'l need to go to radio shack and get a new male and female connector for each side. Then, it's basically just go back remove the old controls and connectors on the new controls and strip and install all the wires on the bike side and control side into the appropirate pin locations using the old controls and connectors as a guide.

Same number of wires, just use the same pin placement. If I remeber right there was like 1 or 2 wire that were different colors but not hard to figure out. Pretty simple mod actually and it makes the bike look 10 years newer.
