  • 1st attempt on Pre-98 headlight mod. (Pic)

It sucks not having Photoshop anymore, and Microsoft paint had to do. I used Cbass's pic (Mine is in the shop) from his clean 89. Here is what my 10mins came up with: (below attachment)

Terrible, I know, but I'm just playing with ideas. so far, I plan on covering the light with some vinyl or fiberglass, then making a little fiberglass add-on below the headlight, to make it not look so random.

    I dunno. Any ideas?

I actually like it a lot!

Looks very good, and matches the line of the bike I think!!!

Oh yeah and by the way she is not as clean as she looks.

I am working on that though. I have had more fun working on the bike than actually riding it. That is only cause it is not safe to ride right now

Are we going for Baby Gixxer? Its different for a Kat, but looks like the 01-03 Gixxer headlight.

You should put a big "S" in the middle of the light... Super Suzuki!!!

Looks good, but you'll have to take shock compression into account. I had a bigger horn installed in the stock location, and it scratched the plastics over the front wheel. My springs were pretty much shot though, so YMMV.

Not my cup of tea. I already would like more light on the road, so last thing I'd like it to block part of the headlight.

If there were any way to adapt a couple of projectors, or a projector (with HID) plus a reflector with a halogen bulg I'd be extremely happy!

I wouldn't put the beard on it..looks like a goat. I like the shape of the headlight though...sorta gixxerish.

I put "the beard" on because the headlight didnt flow with the front end of the bike. I dunno, probably this winter I will try it out.

Take off the sharp point between the fender and the headlight to see how it turns out and then put your project on wheels.

I think it looks pretty damn good, actually. If you took that other mirror off it would be downright bitchin
