Pre 98 aftermarket exhaust mistake with install

I found out the hard way that when putting a yosh pipe/header on a pre 98 you have to cut the lower fairing ouch that is some nasty burn marks in the lower plastic.

Is that a Yosh pipe made for a pre 600?

Where did you have to cut the fairing (pics would be nice), how is it (loud, quiet, ease of install?)

thats weird, i mean i put a V&H on mine..no cutting at all, looks/sounds genius.
