While prepping the bike for paint,my wife noticed a small crack in the right fairing near the turn signal housing....I never even noticed it at first!!.....Does anyone know what is the best way to patch this up the right way(fiberglass,hardener,etc..)Is it something I can just pick up at an auto parts store?!Thanks!!

I would try ABS cement and see if it will hold the crack together. If not you might have to V notch it.90% of motorcycle forum members do not have a service manual for their bike.

ouch... that's an awfully tiny crack too, i can see why you missed it. i'm not sure how you'd fix it up, but i suppose with something that small, maybe just some kind of epoxy, hell even super glue, then paint over it? i'm not expert when it comes to plastics and such, but i figure it'd cover the crack up pretty well.2004 Katana

You are going to have to notch that out to repair it correctly and expect it to hold. Follow hardlydangerous' instructions in his plastic welding/repair thread stickied at the top of this forum and you'll be golden.

I appreciate everyone's advice,as there are several different ways of repairing it apparently....but after reading the sticky by HardlyDangerous on this subject,I'm confident that it won't be as hard as I originally thought.I'll post pics of my work in progress....Thanks!!
