  • Front fender swap..?

    Will the front fender off of a post cat fit a pre cat..? just wondering bc i can get a good deal on one and they are better looking than the pre kat fenders.

    I know there is a difference in width from 04 (maybe 03) and newer as well as they did away with the brace between the forks, so I'd say that would not fit a pre.

      98-02 should fit... or fit with very minimal mod....

        thats what i was thinkin because i seen it and and the brace looks so close...the only thing i was worried about was the width im gonna put some thought ot this and if i do it ill post some pics.

          I remember seeing pic's of someone putting one on with zip ties. But that may have been a GSX R fender they used.

            Pretty sure that was a different fender, off a bandit or something. They used zip ties because the mount holes were located on the sides of the fender to the forks, instead of the top like on the Kats.
