Dumb question

Pulled her apart today for some new paint....how in the HELL do you get that front fender off?


Havent spent much time, just pulled the four bolts on the forks and then it got dark....gotta drop the front wheel?

Yup, need to drop the wheel to get to the nuts on the bottom of the fender.

Never taken apart a sport bike before....they got stuff jamed up in some tight little areas.

I was able to get my fender off with out removing the forks.

1. Get the Kat off of the ground in the front
2. Take the air out of the tire.
3. Remove plastics (I can't remember if I had the headlight assenbly out or not)
4. Use (I think) 8mm wrench for nuts under neath and allens on top, front two first.
5. Repeat for back 2.
6. Slide it up the forks a bit.
7. Tada!
