umm they do its called Krazy kreations undertails, the 03+ kat version is sick.

also here is that exactly tail mod with the undertail with the deep well. the ones ill sell will have deeper wells which will probably the one i switch to but im running a rear hugger with a busa shock which raises the tail so i dont have the problem of rubbing hopefully. sorry to hijack the thread if this didnt provide any info to the tread.

Mreedohio, no hijacking at all.. I posted to show what I did, but you (and anyone else) are more than welcome to post what you got, did, or will be doing. I would love to see other versions for ideas on changes I may make when I redo mine. The first was/is just an experiment!

Thanks for the pic on that... I like how the back portion turned out, and I think it's alot more in line with what I want in the end when I redo my sub frame rails so I can continue it further like that.

Let's hop in the delorean for a moment lol...

Did you ever get to a revised addition? I'm probably gonna try some sheet metal since it will be easy enough to cut and trim plus easily to get a nice curvature to it.

Not yet. I still have plans to modify the lower frame rails so they would be hidden under the tail plastics and open things up from a side view, another swingarm swap and an undertail exhaust design that's in the works in my mind... so ultimately all that will change entirely how an undertail fairing would be cut/look.

Good point, no sense in making extra work for yourself lol.

I'm not touching the rear rails though cuz I use them to hook my bungee net for holding my extra helmet or gear etc.

I really hope you can get back to her, id really love to see that stuff in the works

The lower frame adjustment would have no specific effect on that acutally. The grab rails attack very high up on the lower rail for one side only, and the other end attaches directly to the upper frame rail. Even if I move the lower rail, it would only be through intentional removal that the grab bars with the bungie hooks would be removed. I could easily just leave them there.

I won't though, as part of this plan includes other modifications such as fold down passenger pegs/brackets that can be hidden under the tail when not in use in combination with a solo cowl look. Along those lines, I'll probably work in hidden hooks as well that can fold out or something for just such a consideration.
