rough paint?

The paint on my Kat is rought to the touch. It also is dull and not glossy. It seems the PO kept it in the sun alot, because the lower parts of the fairing and anything that wouldnt be in the sun feel fine.

I was considering repainting next winter.

I have tried washing/waxing.

Is there any temporary fix i could do to make it look/feel semi-decent?

Rubbing compound then a coat of clear.. Or wax.. You need to cut through all that oxidized paint..

ok thank you. I wasn't sure. I am new to the whole painting scene. I think I will just keep it how it is and just wait till the winter to paint it

I would've suggested wax too but you might have to remain consistent on it throughout the season.
