Certainly something pretty cool and different, but I don't think you will be satisfied with their length. They look like you would see a lot of 'you', and not so much 'behind you'.

I just took off an inexpensive verson of mirrors that appear similar in length and I just put the stock ones back on because I couldn't see anything but me in them. (Not a pretty sight!)They were too short for my Kat. They are cool looking though.

we had to modify but i have them on my 89

I have them (blue carbon) on my blue 2001... I can easily see behind me without looking like a contortionist, however it is a much smaller/thinner viewing area and will take some getting used to. They look friggin hot and are the perfect size for the bike IMO. Direct bolt-on for the 01, no brains required (I am proof of this ) for install.
