Duramix/Automix Plastic bonding

A member sent me a PM suggesting DuraMix and AutoMix as alternatives for repairing plastics without doing any plastic welding.

Anyone have any experience with these products?

I talked to four or five different body and paint guys in my area before I started working on welding / fixing up my spare Kat Fairings..

They all had their favorite chemical / process for fixing cracks / breaks in ABS.....

I took my plastic welded fairings to everyone of them to check out, and they wouldn't believe me when I explained how easy it was.

And they also couldn't believe how strong the repair was....

I've done plastic welding in the garage... and I don't find it that hard to do. Just curious is all.
