New Paint Job

Im sure this has already been discussed, but after searching I still couldnt find suitable answers. How much should i be looking to pay for getting my Kat repainted just a solid black color? It has been down and definetly needs to be sanded, but around what price range should i be expecting?? Thanks!!

I'm not sure where you live but around here paint work is expensive.

Providing that there aren't any major cracks or gouges,

I would expect to pay about $1200.00

I had estimates at a couple of our better paint shops to have the tank and front fender painted.
They both quoted me about $500.00

If you prepped everything, and had it ready to go for the painter, it would definately be cheaper. But when they have to do body work along with the paint, it starts to get really expensive.
