  • My current situation (for those who care)...

Ok, the Kat-Viper (just kidding) is going through a couple modifications. I really wish I could have some pictures already, but it is not completed yet. Don't worry, will be soon. Here are some of the things happening to it.

    Metzeler Roadtec Z6 tires
    120/60/ZR17 Front
    160/60/ZR17 Rear
    Sitting in my living room.

Illumiglo Reverse Glow Guages. Already installed.
New Chain and Sprocket kit. Already installed.
Painting Brake Calipers and Discs again.

I will have wonderful pictures for all the world to see once everything is completed. I have even more to be excited about though. I just bought my wife a 1998 Katana 600. It is currently a bit mangled, but I have all the parts I need and will be putting her together soon. I just started working the night shift (6:00PM - 8:00AM) so it may take longer to do than I give myself credit for. I won't tell you the color we are going to paint it. You will just have to see. Well, see you all soon.

You will LOVE the 120/60 + 160/60 combo! Fantastic choice.

I'm a Diablo fan, but the Z6's will be good too, I'm sure.

        Post pics when you're done!!!

MY 750 will remain Viper GTS Blue. I am painting my wife's 600.

No, you cannot go bigger in the rear. Not wider, anyways.

I have the 120/60...160/60 setup now with my Dunlop D208's, but needed a change in brand. I hear the Z6's are wonderful. I will let you know. I just took the wheels off the bike and will have the new rubbers mounted tomorrow.

I am documenting everything with photos and when I am finished, I will post them all. Including all paints used and some methods.

Dupli-color makes a paint specially for rotors and calipers, works really well, not too many choices of colors though.
