  • Recovered my seat

    So I bought this kat a couple of weeks ago. It had an awful purple seat. I recovered it this weekend.

    I have taken the stickers off now too but I will post that in another thread once all the glue is off.

    wow looks awesome.

    how do you go about doing this? id like to recover the seat on my 79. its a big *** seat though lol and it is sorta sectioned into squares so maybe i wouldnt be able to?

        Thank you. I used a heat gun, spray adhesive and a staple gun. It's not too hard I bought enough material for do overs (I had to do the front again because I let it touch the heat gun.... stupid).

        Just remove the old cover, cut a section bigger than what you need attach at some point in the middle and stretch and glue and staple. Redo anthing that doesn't look good.

        Cost about $20
