ok started sanding side fairring and it started peel . what caused this and how I get it off .

sorry about that was driving .i was trying to sand it down to repaint had some straches in it like that when bought i had fine grit it start peeling in some spots may have been house paintWhen the Job and Wife gives U Hell take the Xtra long way to them Comment

what grit were you using? my suggestion is to sand all of the paint completely off (bare plastic), then prime it using a proper primer, with proper flex and adhesion agents for plastics.
If your paint is flaking off, it is not adhering properly to the surface. Best to get rid of it before you waste any money trying to paint it again.Comment
