I was told that an early GSXR body would fit right onan early Kat. Any truth to this?

WIth some fabrication, I could see it happening, but the frame for the Gixxer is different from that Kat from what I remember seeing. Also, the Gixxer is not a 1 peice fairing, it is 3. You have the headlight area, that comes down to the sides a bit. Then you have a center peice, then the lower. The kat has the whole top part (No sperate center) and the lower. I would imagine the bird cage would be different as well, and you would have to switch that out to mount the Gixxer headlight area to it.Kan-O-Gixxer!
