Orange Painted Kat ?

A good friend of mione is talking about painting his bike in orange but he is a little unsure about it. i thought i had seen a Orange kat on this site before but i can not find a picture any where. his bike is a 2003 model and i think the one i saw was a 98> so if you can help out with any pics please post them.

Thanks for the replys but the bike above i think is more copper than orange. The paint he is looking at is a Candy that goes over the top of a silver base. i have looked at the busa but could not find one and i know i have seen a orange kat on this site.

This is orange but candy over silver will probably be brighter.

Mine is more orange than it looks in the pic I posted. It has LOTS of metallic and pearl. I will be different every time you look at it in different lighting. The paint is based off of GM's Sunburst Orange Metallic, and Lamborghini Orange. A true candy color would have a base coat, Color coat, Candy coat, and clear. What is he going to use for the color coat?

JHILDE, sweet bike. I've really been thinking about painting mine that color this fall. I saw it on a new Vette the other day and loved it. I think I'll go black on the bottom and black powder coat on the wheels. Looks good man.

I used to have black wheels but I think it looks better with Silver ones. Here is a pic of the black wheels. It might look better with the bottom painted black though.

I like yours better now as it is with the silver rims only because of the swingarm and forks, but judging from my bike, I would have left the black rims and painted everything else black
