Tail light conversion.

I'm going to convert my bike to LEDs.
First because the bulb burned out on the LP indicators I bought and new bulbs are not available locally and are 3.99 and only lasted a week
Whew.
So, I'm going to experiment with the stock items first.
Move on to making a dual filiment version. (for the LPs)
Finally a tail light for my pre 750.
(someone on KP made one that was really bright

I plan to design it around the standard bulbs so it will plug and play.
I also plan to source the parts as cheap as possible.
Anyone interested?

If so I'll actually write stuff down instead of just winging it

I would be interested in a different tail light. Have to see the price and appearance, but definitely interested. That's the only thing I don't care for on my bike.

Very interested in how you do that, that's going to be one of my projects for this summer, too.

After I finish the sub box for my truck, I'll probably get started on that one.

I have my blinkers built into the brake light....Check out my ride profile, I have placed a picture of the brake light and blinkers in it.....

The apearance will be the same..
The difference will only be behind the lens.
Brighter, bigger (the light source will be spread out)
and lower power consuption.

If I get this to work out I'll see if I can get a crashed 98+ lamp assembly.

This is the first version.
It is made out of Polypro. I'm making a few adjustments and will cover it in real CF..
I want to add turn signal indicators and maybe an analog temp gauge..
