Who would be interested in a swingarm license plate holder if I were to make them or have them made? Just need to get a feel for how many would sell.

I would be able to make these for any year Katana and am planning on trying to make them with the Katana Logo cut out or GSXF cut out on them.

They will be polished or possibly chrome depending on how expensive it will be to chrome them.

I'm not sure on price yet, i have found generic ones without any engraving and they retail for around $150. Not sure why they are so expensive as i can't see it costing all THAT much to make these. Mine will NOT be that expensive though. I will have a price once I am able to price out what it will cost to make them.

Sounds cool but here we have a law the says the license plate needs to have a light on it. I think most states have that law too. Would your frame have a light on it?

Yes, I would include LED's with it. Something similar to the link below. Hopefully will be able to find something a little less expensive to use though..

I know in PA, there has to be some kind of light around ur plate.. even if its just a tail light.

When I made my swingarm liscence plate mount, I mounted an LED steplight in the tail section facing down onto the plate. It looks clean as hell 'cause there are no wires anywhere in the swingarm area, and it lights up incredibly bright. I'll put up some pics if anyone wants to see.
