    Thoughts on this scheme

    So I put my kat intot he shop and am dropping some coin into it so I decided to keep it. (Was going to sell it for a GSXR but with insurance and wedding upcoming it was too much for right now)

    Regardless I decided I will keep the bike around for a bit and decided I wanted to paint it to match me a little bit more.

    I was thinking of getting the attached paintjob. I would make the following changes though (which if anyone has photoshop and some free time feel free to make for me so I could get an idea on looks.....)

    The red at the bottom would be burnt orange. The swirl design would be silver with white outline and the black at the top would be a navy blue. The black lightening in the swirl would be orange as well to match the bottom of the bike.

    Thoughts???

    Why is the sky blue and white? God is a PSU fan...

    Really flashy paint job, definately something that is going to stand out, one of a kind kat you'll have it'll turn out nice

      With that paint scheme you wont be able to sell it if you plan on selling it EVER!!

        See I would buy it if it were painted like that. Though I am weird and would buy other paint schemes.


        Taking it back to stock would be all of $400 or so anyway so no real big loss......


        Just thought I would get a flashy bike to mimic my personality. I have yet to chrome out my bike at all either. I still need to do that but next year after my wedding when i have more funds.

        I do plan on adding some LED lighting to it as well....

          That would lokk good on your Kat. Especially with all of the plastic, which is why it looked good on the Busa.

            That bike looks like crap... If you want a flashy bike to mimic your personality then come up with your own design... and don't bite off of someone elses!!!

              That bike matched up my drawing pretty closely. I would not have the swirls going down as far but instea donly as a transition between colors.

              I decided against the PSU (Penn State University) logos on the bike due to the fact that my fiance might take the bike one day.



              As for personal taste......I put that all into my goalie masks for hockey.
