  • Keeping it clean...

How does one keep their wheels clean. It seems like I wash them on a weekend.. Ride the week and BAM they are dirty again. Is there something i can put on them to keep them clean and not attract dust like they do? Does anyone else have this issue?

    Powdercoat them like Tim did...

Mine get real dirty as well REAL quick, especially if I've put too much chain lube on...

Waxing helps some. Then you just have to wipe them down, not clean them. The brake dust usally comes off a lot easier. Worth a try.

Z... you don't see the dirt if the wheels are spinning. So the easiest solution is to RIDE!!

The wheels are the first thing to get dirty.. so I just wash them down real good whenever I wash the bike...but then I take it for a ride and their dirty again, so, no worries.

ah, if its break dust z, DONT RIDE THE DAMN BRAKES SO MUCH, if its dirt then use some spray wax on them that will protect them and wash off real eays, dont forget that this is the time for pollin so there is stuff floating in the air all the time

If you ride it then it gets dirty, If you don't ride it stays fairly clean. You make the choice LOL

I use Moose Sludge Away. You can get it in big bottles from Dennis Kirk.
