  • Got Paint?

this is mainly a post for SoCal (unless you are willing to bring/ship/teleport your bike here)...i'm getting my bike painted this weekend by a buddy of mine that works for a top notch paint shop in san diego. i mentioned to him that i just joined a board where people may be looking to get paint done on their rig. he will do your entire bike for $400, assuming that is just sand, primer, paint and clear. he can do custom color mixing and uses top of the line supplies. if there is any body damage, he can do repairs, but that will run you a little higher. i should have pics of mine by monday, so i'll post them up and you can decide for yourself. the shop he works for is renowned as THE place to go for custom paint in socal. most of what he works on now are high end imports like ferraris and porsches. the only catch is that he wants your bike in pieces as he isn't a mechanic, and doesn't want to deal with breaking it down. let me know if any of you are interested, and i can put you in touch with him. i've seen his work in the past, and i guarantee you will not be dissapointed!
You ever take that off any sweet jumps?

I would have to be so far away. Sounds like a good deal.

Well, he couldn't give me the exact mix, but the colors used were jet black and blue metallic pearl. Hope that helps!

Thanx bro, that is a good start. I sure hope he will be able to match yours if anything ever happens that you need to repaint
