Does anyone know if an '01 Bandit tank will direct bolt onto a Kat?
I've been looking at the 2 frames and from the fiche they appear to be the same.

no, they're not the same, and no a Bandit tank is not a direct bolt on. -
Frame design is considerably different. I know for a fact that a 98 Bandit 1200 tank won't fit on a 99 Kat750, nor on an 78 Kat1100, as I have had the Bandit concurrently with both of those bikes, and I didn't need to test fit to know- it is obvious. I would say it would prob. be the same on other kats."Stevie B" Boudreaux
