  • What would this take?

Okay, I might buy this bike, but not sure. I mean the damage dosent look that bad, but would like to know what would be good to use.
Heres the pic of the damage...http://community.webshots.com/photo/...09131868PWKqiI
I am gonna say, some red lead or bondo, some sandpaper, a day of work, and some paint. I have no clue what color that is...anyone know what the color is called? Or what the paint code is on the bike...Like I said, havent bought it yet, was wondering what it is gonna take to repair this. I dont want to replace the whole thing, so would like to know what it will take....
    Thanks guys!
I need a bike! Katana 600 will do! Under $1500, decent condition would be nice, would like it to be running good..

looks real scrathed down deep on that top part. so you might have to use a thicker layer of bondo witch could end up cracking and messing up your new paint job. id just buy a new one on ebay. plastics felxable bondo is not. id only use it for little fixes or im sure they have some new more flexable fillers out thier i have no looked into that though.

Well, how much for a right side fairing? and from the pics, it looks like I hafta replace the whole front end plastic...cuz it looks like it comes off in one big chunk.

                God I am soo confused....

Buy a NOS replacement from Special K for around $150 and then sell that one on eBay for $50.

It is repairable and most of that would sand out. Your gonna need something to fill the hole though and plastic welding or a 2-part rigid repair kit for plastics are going to be your best methods.

That color is not stock, good luck matching it. Looks like pntiac copper to me that they use on the Aztecs
