How do I go about repairing, painting, and bleding a scratch spot on my fairing.

1) Order color matched paint. If it's still stock, order from www.color-rite.com. If it's not stock, find your color from whomever.
2) Tape off and Prep the area. Sand, fill, sand, prime.
3) Paint the area.
4) Re-tape, this time using a larger area. This is to blend the paint color to deal with color fade.
5) Wetsand and such.
Best bet is to repaint the entire fairing peice. This keeps the colors from being off.Pain is just weakness leaving the body.

I have a black 06. Du-Pont's 99K chromabase matches fine. Du-Pont also has the necessary blenders you'll need to blend the clear in witout any tape lines left over after wet sanding and buffing.
