    What's better to get a new aftermarket upper right fairing like this

    or a used one.
    Would I see any fitting problems with the new fairing?

    That's fiberglass. So NO. Get a used one.

      You would have to paint either way so I would go with a used one.

          Yes, its prone to cracking under high vibrations.

          The stock is abs injection molded plastic. That's your best bet unless you can do carbon fibre work.
