If you don't care about looking different than stock, keeping your fender eliminator clean from mud and chain grease, and getting rid of the stock chain guard, they are totally useless.
What about pre98's??? Can I put one on a pre98, I thought there was a thread about this but I think it has gone away from the main stream.
    Here's one:

That looks awesome, but what if anything did you have to do for that hugger?

            Bad Spedee, BAD!

Here are the pics and what the guys had to say about the hugger...

            Rear Hugger

This is a rear hugger that I got from Carnell Motorcycles in the UK. Unfortunately they don't make a rear hugger for pre-98 Katanas, so what I did was order one for the newer 98+ Kats. The newer Katanas swingarm is slightly longer than the pre-98's so the bracket supplied will not work. A bracket must be fabricated at a machine shop for this to work.
That is a sweet bike too.

So what kind of mods are required to install on a pre-98 ('94 750, to be exact). Is this a Metisse hugger we're talking about?

I've got a 1996 Kat and I'm searching for some of these and to find out what mod is needed. I found that guys site earlier and I've been trying to see what I can find on the company in England. Anyone else that has done this on earlier Kats, please post up pics, links on what you bought and what mods you did.

                              Thanks
