Tire Size Question

I've got a 1990 GSX1100F. The standard size on the front tire is 120/80-16. A guy in town has a front tire that's an MT90 B 16 (Avon Venom). That translates to 130/80.

Does anybody know if this would fit? The fender looks like it might get in the way but I'm not sure and I'd like to take advantage of this deal ($200 for front and rear).

A 130mm front tire? That is too wide, may not hold air well because of the bead not seating well.
Plus it'll slow the steering response.

I agree, too wide. It will not fit the rim correctly either.
