So I recently asked about the Shinko 009s after ordering them. I recently had them put on, and much to my surprise they're not as bad as I had feared them to be. I've been working them in a bit, and though they are a bit different as far as crowning in the middle like the Michelin tires I had previously, I feel that I have much more control in cornering.
Personal opinion: I feel they are pretty decent tires for the lower cost.
I understand why some would be a little unsettled by these tires being as they're much more rounded rather than crowned for cornering, I feel they are really nice tires to just cruise on and enjoy the view.
