  • Need chain and sprockets for 1992 600

    I'm looking for recommendations on a quality set of chain and sprockets for a 1992 Katana 600. The bike has 31K on it, and the chain is shot.
    Thanks in advance.

    I am well pleased with my RK xring chain. 45K. it is worn out though. GXSFJim sells custom sprockets.

      I got an EK X-ring. Thus far i like it though I've only put about 1K on it.

        Where did you guys get them from, what did they cost, and did they come as a chain and sprocket kit or?

          talk to a member on here for sprockets. they come in assorted colors and shapes and the pricing is reasonable. As for the chain, I think they go for a little over $100 on ebay.

            I produce custom sprockets for just about any bike.
            I have 2 different standard set available;
            1. A 15t C/S, a 47 or 50t black anodized aluminum rear for a #530 chain

            2. A 15t C/S, a 47 or 50t steel rear for a #530 chain

            Or something custom if that's something your interested in.

                      I can take care of your chain for you. The EK Chains work the best on the older kats IMO. They dont stretch as easy and I am hard on my chain. My site it is off but I do take care of KR members.
