  • Did tire prices go way up recently?

I'm looking for a rear tire, preferably Michelin. It seems as though the prices have gone up $20.00 in the past few months.

Any ideas where I can get the best deal?

And, yeah. Tire prices have been going up. They're made of petroleum, you know.

I bought my Pilot Power 2ct's from Motorcycle Superstore this summer.

These guys are linked with JW I believe. I've had them ship tyres to Oz. We get rushed around $500 a set here!

Depends on the tire. If you want Michelin, Jake Wilson is probably cheapest. Conti-motions are cheap at Dennis Kirk right now. Iron Pony is pretty competitive on almost everything.

Yes tires went up around 7-9% depending on the manufacturer about a month and half ago. If an internet company is still selling them cheap its because they have them in stock from before the increase. But like always when buying tires online make sure they are not really old tires that haven't been sitting on a shelf for a few years.

I would just say get pillot road 2, they have been the best bang for my buck. only been riding hard for a year, but have put almost 9,000 miles on them and they dont look half worn yet. good rubber if you ask me.

I'm thinking about the Pilot Road 2 or 3.

What size do you put on the bike. I don't see 150 in them

All the manufacturers bumped prices up last month by as much as 20%.
