I have a 00 Katana 600, with a 160/60/17 Dunlop. How big can you go with the factory wheel? Found a good sale on 180/55/17 and was wondering if it would fit?

closed for lack of good flame retardant...
FYI, 160/60 is suggested as the widest for a 4.5" wide wheel, a 180 is better suited for a 5.5" or even a 6.0". Check the manufacturer's fitment charts for the specific tire you are looking at, some will even go 170, but none 180 as far as I know.
