My friend has the wheels on his jixxer chromed. If youre going to do it MAKE SURE YOU GO THROUGH A PLACE THAT EXCHANGES!!!!!!! He sent his off to a place that doesnt trade, they chrome the actual wheels you send them and he didnt get his stuff back for like 6 months.

if you pull a wheelie and 12 o clock it and lose it, youi might scratch up your rims just enough to get a pollished look
