I just order a set of Pirelli Diablo Stradas (120/70/17 - 150/70/17) for my Kat.
$192.68 including shipping and all, at American Motorcycle Tire (thanks Lou for the link).
In europe, they say that those are Z6's w/different pattern. I'll keep you informed.

Hey , I bought the same thing a few days ago ! Couldn't find the Diablos in my size , so I "settled" .

Look at these minor differences (although I see an apex shape difference -- the Z6 is sharper sloped off-apex):

Pirelli Diablos Strada Rear


Note also that the motorcycle tire websites for the two firms are run by the same development team -- same fitment database, same directory tree structures, etc.

I just saw the add for these in the new Cycle Canada.

Make sure you give us a few updates over the life of the tire, I for one am very interested on how they perform.

I would have if I could have, but Pirelli motorcycle tire's website didn't have the picture loaded (nor any info on front sizing specs for the stradas).

You can get an idea of the front tread pattern here (osciallating center groove, just like the Z6's):

Wooaa! Over the weekend the price of the tires went $19 up.
Coincidentally Ron Ayers is offering the Stradas (they didn't have them on friday) but they are even more expensive that the Z6's.
