can you mix diablos?

So I have a set of diablos on there now and the rear needs to be replaced. I was thinking of putting a strada on the rear and keeping the regular diablo on the front because aren't the stradas supposed to last a little longer? I've heard to keep their tread patter the same because the front clears the water away from the rear but since they both use the same tread pattern I think it will be okay? What do you guys think?

Personally I would, untill reacently I was running a Metzler M1 front with a Z6 and Diablo Strada rear and had no problem with those setups in the rain.
