  • "Nicer" pre-kat fork caps???

Does anyone make "better" (nicer looking) fork caps for pre-kats... with the damping adjuster?
    Bling bling.. (within reason)

Ooops.... forgot to say thanks in advance!!

Nope, you can put different caps without the adjuster. That adjuster does nearly nothing anyway. Or install racetech emulators then adjuster less caps.

      Wow that was fast!
So, racetech emuators (was planning to when I rebuild them anyway)
They eliminate the adjusters, or they CAN be eliminated?
Could I use one of those preload adjust caps then?
      (those colorful ones on epay)

They emulate a cartridge shocks valving. Preload adjusters are nice to have but, unnecessary. I have them, for the most part, you set them once, Done. You can do that with a piece of pipe and accomplish the same thing..

"T-Mod", the suspension guy was selling pre-load adjusters/caps.
Private message him to see if he still has any in stock.

Yup definitely get some racetech fork springs and cartridge emulators. Then you can get some different fork caps AND the bike will handle soooooooo much better. After I bought them for mine I was kicking myself in the ass for not doing that first thing.

Lots of preload adjuster options on ebay. Include bandits in the search option to find them.

My bet would be the Bandit 600 caps. I think I remember them being 41mm like the Katanas.
