    Ok, I know this is an old thread, but where is the picture of the correct shock?? There is only one pic of a shock in this thread, and I dont know if that is the right one.

    Yep there is a diff and that Ebay shock is a 07 not a 08+. Take a look at the first pic in the first post and that will show you a 08+ R6 shock. Notice the two adjuster are missing and integrated into one on the 08+. That allows more clearance between the battery box and the shock on a pre.

    That one worked for me.It is close but not contact.Is there a difference in year models that allow it to work?

    Yes the R6S has a different end on the bottom of the shock shaft. The R6S will not work.

    Yes,one has the clevice end that our bike needs and the other has a rod end style that won't work with out bikes.Well,not easily.Just a little fabrication work.
