Ok, now I see it, you just edited the post?
I have been looking on ebay for one and the cheapest I see is $120 after shipping
There are quite a few groups of people buying up the clevis style shocks.GS500,Katana,Versys,Ninja 650R,and I am sure there are others.I regret trying to hold out for that >$50 R1 shock some have bragged about.

Yep there is a diff and that Ebay shock is a 07 not a 08+. Take a look at the first pic in the first post and that will show you a 08+ R6 shock. Notice the two adjuster are missing and integrated into one on the 08+. That allows more clearance between the battery box and the shock on a pre.

That one worked for me.It is close but not contact. Is there a difference in year models that allow it to work?

Yes the R6S has a different end on the bottom of the shock shaft. The R6S will not work.
