  • Progressive suspension Spanner

So I bought a spanner at Cycle Gear...
It's cute.. you use it with a 3/8 ratchet..
Which is nice as you can get in into tight spots.
Ironicly it also makes it a pain as if you are
adding a lot of preload you have to re-position the
ratchet.. Oh well what in life is perfect?

If you carry a 3/8 ratchet on your bike or
a 1/4 inch with adapter the small size is a bonus.
(I didn't get a tool kit with my Kat, BTW)

    $8.95...

I just e-bayed the stock toolkit to get the spanner . Only costed like $10 .

Hmmm but then I have all those tools to throw away..
I have the 22 and 24 mm box wrenches from the CB750 and
the breaker bar thingie.. those are nice wrenches..
Finding a 22 mm box wrench only 5" long is hard..
      The rest? eww...
I always have enough spare tools to make up a tool kit
      better then the one supplied.
My spanner however was a bit too small..

Yeah , I already had all the OTHER tools from the kit too , so now I got extra ! I just keep the extra on the bike , with a few additions , and the tools that WERE there are back in the toolbox . Still , $10 for the stock toolkit WITH spanner vs. $10 for JUST the spanner seems like a no-brainer to me .
