bent lower triple-tree

my left lower triple-tree is bent,has any one ever tried to heat them and straighten them its only bent an 1/8?????

IMO a 1/8" bend is enough to warrant replacing the triple tree, How did it get bent?

I dont realy know,I just got it and when I rode it I seen that the handle bars where
crooked,so I took the forks out(by the way needs new seals)the right side slid out the left side I had to beat it out.And when I switch sides withthe forks one slides in and the other misses the top clamp by an 1/8,thats why i was wondering if any body has tried to heat one up or is it not safe???

i tried before it didnt work for me. plus if u heat it and start beating on it its gonna lose structural intregerty(it wont be as strong as before) easier just to get another one.
