  • 98+ dogbone length ?

    98+ dogbone length - center to center - 7" ??
And for those in the know - how much longer to lower it 1.5", maybe two I'll have to measure. Trying to figure out some dimensions to get some bones made for the GSXF650.

    TIA

I am getting right at 7 3/8" center to center on the 98+ 750 links.

A diff of 3/8" equals a inch on the drop or raise.

OK, next question. Can I make some up out of say 1018 steel to try? I know they will rust and it would only be a short term solution to find the right ride height then I'll get some cut from stainless or?

5mm steel plate has been working on one of my gsxr's for the last 5 years with no problems to be fair i'd be worried about using stainless though as its more liable to shear under load or wear the bolts

            cheers tone
