  • Suspension assistance?

I am just starting to get into trying to understand the suspension so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    2006 Kat 750 - stock suspension.
    15000+km on the bike.
    225lbs w/o gear
ride mainly 1-up, very rarely 2-up.

Looking for what would be suggested as a starting point to start to make alterations in settings front and rear. Being that this is my first road bike, I have no idea where to start. I have read posts about changing springs, fluid, emulators...etc...

    Thanks for your time guys.

Double check your current settings against your manual to make sure you are at the "stock" settings.

This is my setting on my 03 600

    Front springs
    2 clicks (stock is 3)

    Rear shock
3 on the black dial for damping (stock is 2)
5 on the bottom for preload (stock is 4)

what ever you decide on keep notes, start with small changes. go for a ride and see how you like it after each change..

06 750 has spanners for the preload adjustment not the cams that I think you are referring to.
