  • Reuse the old shims with Ferodo Sintergrips?

    Hi all,
On my rear caliper, I pulled out the old tokico pads with the shims. I'm putting in new Ferodo Sintergrip pads, do I reuse the shim? The new pads did not come with shims, nor does the packaging mention anything about it. Thanks-

I say contact the manufacturer before proceeding with the install.

It seems to vary from brand to brand. I reused the OEM shims with EBC pads and found out the hard way that wasn't right (EBC made good with two extra sets of rear pads and a rear rotor for free though!).

      Cheers
