no brake pressure

i had to take my back caliper off of the line when removing my swingarm, and now that everythings back together, i tried bleeding my back brake and nothing. i pumped the piss out of it and had my buddy (the ASE certified) brake tech help me out, and we still got nothing. the only thing i can think of is getting new thicker pads.

umm...you do realize that the resevoir is behind the plastics right? What you are saying doesn't make sense...brakes are very simplistic. check all lines and top up. You should have a bleeder tool...one person operation.

There are two bleeder valves for the rear caliper; you have to bleed both of them, starting with the one on the inside of the rotor (i.e. closest to the wheel). I recommend speed-bleeders as a solution to help bleeding ($8 - $14 a pair) and to make it an one-person operation with no hassles.

Otherwise you may have ruined a caliper seal, brake line, or the master cylinder pump seal.
