They claim the seat fitment for the 750 changed in '96 and stayed that way through '06 (using the same seat fitment the 600 gets starting in 98).

Well, 96 was a transitional year -- it's the year that the European Kats get the TPS (throttle position sensor), most of the kats swap to the newer style spark plugs, and the 750 swaps to the new-style one-piece seat.

            Cheers,

Congrats, CP. I am tempted to ask about the backrest, but even with the discount, still gonna be too rich for my Scotch blood.

96 and 97 are still the split style seat for the 600's. I suspect it's a typo on Corbin's part.

Thanks. You know how this works, right? Cyber decides he needs another Corbin for his new Kat and then decides he's not going to pay retail...

eBay -- there's someone selling knock-offs for around $80 that work with the corbins.

I said the x-over year for the 600 is 98; it's only the 750 they list as crossing over at 96.

                    Cheers,

Thats a great deal Marc, It's about time you became a Corbin dealer with everyone asking about them for years. I have had mine for awhile now, and highly recommend this saddle with the backrest to anyone who likes to ride 2up with their partner.
