i got the 35w kit off ebay for 30 bucks shipped just to try it out and it got high/low beam and i need to get a relay for it and i mounted the ballast next to the headlight just inside the birdcage
I hope you guys are using a heavy duty wiring harness for those installs. While the HID kits use very little power while running, they pull big time amperage during start-up - which can nuke your stock headlight wiring harness.
You can get a really good HD H4 headlight harness here.

Well I hope mine does not glare too much, as I hate to get the glare of other cars. Last thing I want to do is bug folks! If there too bright, I'll get a 35 watt bulb.
I know the halogen reflector is not designed for an arc, but I've read up on different systems, and the one I bought is said to work really well with an H4 reflector. I'll find out soon enough.
I just installed a 6000K setup in mine that thing is almost to bright i need to find a way to tone down the glare. Ive had several cars flash there lights at me ive had to adj it down almost 8in lower than the stock bulb. Im kinda worried im gonna get pulled over.
