Cyber, of course you are more than welcome to host the video - thank you.
Yeah, I need to definitely get those beams further out. But bringing the beam pattern UP (and therefore OUT) is definitely in the program. Also, the video seems to be a bit misleading as the light (it is still a single set up) is damn near sun-like; but these pics give it a better perspective:

Lights on:
Head-on:
So far, even though it is only 50% complete, I am extremely satisfied.

Un-plug the old bulbs, route the harness as SAFELY and SECURELY as possible (I went UNDER the tank, so I sandwiched the wiring harness between 2 strips of 1/8" rubber to stop any abrasion to the harness - because the "Katana Fireball" mod is probably not endorsed by either Suzuki Motorcycles, or www.katriders.com). After it is in place, plug the included relays into the relay receivers, and secure to a solid mounting point. Then plug one of the factory headlight receivers into it, and plug in the your new HID's in, then connect to your power source of choice. The harness is absolutely critical, because of the increased power demand at start up.Last edited by yellow_kitty_kat; 02-06-2008, 08:14 PM.Originally posted by Nero"Be the ball, Danny. Be the ball."

Hey! Be advised! -You bring those beams up too far and you'll get high beams back from the other direction. -And maybe a cop on your azz.=USAF= Retired

I think just a few more feet out, and a little to the left ( to get the left beam back on center) for now.
I will of course have to repeat the procedure for the right one once it's installed.Originally posted by Nero"Be the ball, Danny. Be the ball."

what wire harnes did you have to get from suvlights??

Just make sure you get the harness for the H4 headlight, as that is the one on the Kat.
Even if you don't run an HID system, and just use aftermarket 55/100w vs. the stock 55/60w bulbs, you should really invest in the upgraded harness - as the cost of a new Suzuki wiring harness is a LOT more cost prohibitive.
It turns out that the PO of my bike was running 55/100w bulbs, and on high beam, the whole time he owned my Katana. When I installed the harness, I found one of the stock headlight plugs partially melted. I assume this is the collateral damage associated with the extra power draw due to the higher wattage.Originally posted by Nero"Be the ball, Danny. Be the ball."
